Avery Dennison Black PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a black protective polyurethane film applied to a vehicle’s bodywork, acting as a “shield” for the original paint. It is designed to protect against everyday damage and preserve the vehicle’s appearance long term.

What does it protect against?

PPF film effectively protects paint from:

• stone chips and road impacts,

• minor scratches and “swirl” marks,

Self-healing technology

High-quality PPF films have self-healing properties – minor scratches and holograms smooth out when the film is heated (e.g., in the sun, with warm water, or a heat gun).

Where is PPF most commonly installed?

Most common applications:

• front of the vehicle: hood, bumper, mirrors, fenders,
